The LA Times published a story about the connection between lies and texting. The paper in question will be published in the Journal of Business Ethics. In that paper, experts discovered what we all already knew: people are more likely to lie via text compared to face-to-face communications, video conferencing, or audio chat. Amazing. I can save them some time on their next paper and let them know that Facebook lives are much different than Real lives. Give the story a read here. It really is interesting.
