Cell Phones Keep Getting Smaller

As you might expect, the biggest part of a cell phone (besides the screen, which is never big enough), is the antenna. Personally, the batter could use a bit of an upgrade too since it seems to last about 20 minutes on a full charge. But I digress.
Researchers at the University of Michigan have come up with a possible way to make antennas a lot smaller. See the image above, they made the antenna look like a dome. Brilliant! If they can shrink the antenna and put a “walkabout” proximity locator into my phone, that would be something.
